She joins me to discuss how God led her from corporate work to homeschooling to writing and speaking and then to creating a podcast conference for Christian podcasters.
During our conversation, Misty and I chat about her decision-making progress and how she has learned that listening and trusting God’s leading helps her avoid stress and wrong decisions.

Do you know how to walk through seasons of loss or grief? Many are asking. If we are honest, we’ve all gone through tough seasons: losing a job, a parent, a child, or a friendship. How you process the loss is critical to your emotional well-being.
What to Do During Seasons of Loss
Ask God to lead you
Call a trusted friend
Understand your season and live it well
Silence the enemy
Give yourself time to sit and process
Don’t get stuck
While loss and grief are common to each of us, how we cope is very different. Pay attention to what you are feeling and work through the emotions at your pace.
Do your words roll off your tongue and land in a tender place of your child’s heart or do they wound their spirit? Words have power, so using them carefully will help you strengthen your relationship and reduce conflict. It’s not always what you say, but what others hear that matters. You can build relationships by monitoring your mouth!
